BUILDING A WELCOMING ENVIRONMENT, TOGETHER
ACM BPDC is committed to providing a welcoming environment for all participants. We aim to foster an environment that is friendly, respectful, and supportive. The following rules encompass guidelines for the hackathon, fairplay and general conduct:
- Teams are not allowed to use pre-existing ideas or work, all development and work must be done during the 48 hours of the Hackathon. This does not apply to open-source libraries, or reusing general code or design components.
- Teams may not use significant outside help from non-team members.
- All team members must satisfy the given eligibility criteria.
- Any attacks or hacking attempts to this website or any event server are strictly prohibited.
- In order to maintain an inclusive, fun and welcoming experience, all relevant Code of Conducts must be followed. ACM BPDC's Code of Conduct can be found here. BPDC Campus rules and policies must be followed during the Hackathon.
- If any team member is found to be violating any of the rules or general conduct policies, we reserve the right to disqualify the full team.
TL;DR: Just play fair, friendly and have fun! Our contact details are on the bottom of every page, for any doubts, clarifications or concerns you can reach out to our team. Make sure to read the FAQs first.
